    Six techniques of purification such as Dhauti, Basti, Neti, Trataka, Nauli and Kapalabhati are called Shatkarma. Shatkarma word is derived from "Shat" and "Karma". Shat means Six and Karma means Work. Thus, Shatkarma simply means six works that keep your body healthy, disease free and calm.
